    The Lonely Part of Sin

The lonliest part of sin is not the beggining its's the end.
The easy part is over, now the hardest can begin.

You ask youself the question, did I make the right decision?
Now you strive to find a way to get out of this position.

With your back against a wall and no where to turn.
Lucifer heats up hell as the souls start to burn.

    What did I do wrong?
    Why did I give in?
Thats when I realized I never should have sinned!

i love this poem except for the last last line ( no offense ). it rings true and is a very nice account of how we make mistakes and what we regret.

Sin is an essential part of the human experience. To not sin is to not engage in activity, which, in essence negates your existance. That's just my opinion, your poem is still well done.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
