Poem Commentary

iw rote this poem during the time me and my best friend taylor were in a fight, and i had a horrible nightmare about how she died and so i wrote this poem.

taylor's death

her name was taylor,
people called us siters,
she was pratically the older sister i never had but always wanted,
she was blonde and shone like a star,
but as days went by, she started to fade afar.

she used to be so bright,
but then there came that awful night,
the night she lost a dear friend of hers was the night we lost half of her.

since the day she's done wrong,
she tried to commit suicide but just couldnt do it,
so instead she drank and drugged up,
everyday she lost parts of her life, but taught many a lesson.

before her life was over she taught many this leson:
"if you loose a close one, dont waste your life too, but remember all the good days you had, then they'll always be with you in your heart."

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
