The Dance Instructor

I sit here and I think
what a good friend you would be
although I would have liked more
I knew that this is all there would be

You are fun and so much more
just moving those hips on the floor
dancing is where you will be
having fun and being free

with your hugs and smiles galore
you are what we ladies look for
the gentleman in you just bursting out
us ladies know what that is about

your fun and looks are what we look for
just waiting on the dance floor
to see your smile and dancing moves
just to follow each sexy move

yes this has been a blow
was hoping to be something more
but life has a way of working out
sa good friends without a doubt

and although I am not your type
without this poem you wouldn't figure out
that even though I'm not what you're looking for
this is what life has in store
