The king Who Loved
Love place a circle in my mind, begged me closer for a lookI saw a centered ivory throne and I the kingdom took
kneeled beneath the studded crown, pronounce myself the king
Kingdom mine, all love come serve, the hand that wears the ring
One heart retreated, left a whisper, resounded through the halls
A king so centered will not rule my heart because he calls
leave the circle or better still, my heart upon your throne
Crown my heart if love be pure, my need above your own
I stood beyond the circle, drew closer for a look
Her heart upon the ivory throne, she wore the crown I took
then laid the crown upon my head and came along my side
You my king now have my heart, I beg you come inside.
