The Lantern's Waking Fire

The Lantern's Waking Fire

A devilry guided by the right hand of doom
The wine is poured and the poison is planted
Wicked deeds claim your soul, your resolve enslaved
Taken under the wing of rage himself
Your hands no longer yours to command the innocent to torment

It looks upon you gazing into your being
Sheading upon your darkest desires a light never to wane
All see the evil within you with their own waking eyes
So they recoil casting you into the abyss of their own fears
At this they all see the pleasure it brings in your eyes

Never to neglect again the malice within your heart
The floating fire that wintesses your soul shall never subside
Forever a monolith of sin shall you be
Accepting your own darkness with loving open arms
With a smile upon the blood you spill do you look
