Poem Commentary

Pain is a part of life. The only reason pain exists is to be conquered and to make us stronger in that victory. I hope all who read this may learn that for themselves.

Within

Within the pendulum lay the sundering of my soul An ascension that can be no longer subsiding into a half unmade evil Decided is the fate which dictates the path upon which I am to tread It brings not goodness to me but hearkens unto me great pain and darkness In a place that knows nothing of time I remain lost Within the fabric of the steel of this sword lay my blood Joining that of countless kills a crimson greeting Within the walls of this infernal weapon I witness a hopeless age Bitten by the sting of steel I begin to resign my sanity Walking forth unto plains of malice I remain lost Scarred, beaten, sundered and bled I reach my final self The road of my life comes to its conclusion and I expect a painful doom What I find at the end of pain, however, is strength in both body and mind I see now what it takes to live; will unshaken and unyielding Treading forth unto paramount glory I am no longer lost For twas I who myself found
