    The Rendezvous

    When I walked out
    into the afternoon,
    I noticed a different sun
    so extraordinary
    that its brilliance
    did not blind my eyes.
    Its rays gave everything
    a fantastic brightness,
    transparent and cool.
    Marvelling at this vision,
    I caught my reflection
    in the car window
    and saw another person
    where I used to be.
    The experience of you
    reshaped my identity.
    I could feel your smile
    turning me a richer,
    deeper shade of gold.
    Could you feel my fingers
    stroking my satisfaction
    into your wonderful skin?
    I want your special sun
    to shine on me again
    with all your fire.

An excellent, creative work relating the light romance/eroticism so often denied people due to the rush of life. When experienced everything is opened to the eyes, the senses in a pleasant, different fashion. Great write.
