    THE SHADOWS PATH

The sun hovers just above the horizon casting shadows where they never were before

A shaded path is formed showing the way towards destinies door

The sun ever setting stopping not in spite of prayer

Enveloped in shadow as the light of day sets its snare

The shadow grows ever darker the snare’s springs are set

Destiny approaches unabated unaware of the inevitable threat

Through the door of the inevitable journey the sun no longer can be seen

The snare the threat through destinies door is now so serene

Always within a day, a shadow will spread into darkness, opening the catacombs of the mind for the birth of a dream! Love my friend, sweet dreams!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
