The Tears
As the tears roll upon my face
I ask the Lord for a smile to replace.
I seek his hand, in this troubled time,
Hoping he'll lift this sorrow of mine.
My mother has cancer, and it really
hurts,I can't imagine anything worse.
The medication is taken, and I sit an
wonder.Will anything else be placed
upon her.As she struggles day by day,
I bow to the Lord and start to pray.
O'heavenly father up above, my
mother is sick and needs your love.
For fourteen years, we've dealt with
this.Through it all we've learned the risk.
Please lift our hearts, ease our soles.
Show us the promises, that you behold.
I ask the Lord for a smile to replace.
I seek his hand, in this troubled time,
Hoping he'll lift this sorrow of mine.
My mother has cancer, and it really
hurts,I can't imagine anything worse.
The medication is taken, and I sit an
wonder.Will anything else be placed
upon her.As she struggles day by day,
I bow to the Lord and start to pray.
O'heavenly father up above, my
mother is sick and needs your love.
For fourteen years, we've dealt with
this.Through it all we've learned the risk.
Please lift our hearts, ease our soles.
Show us the promises, that you behold.
