The Unknown
The Unknown is a ball of your fears rolling, smashing your dreams, crushing your heartRolling here an there, it's never ending pain
I reach out for a helping hand but I reach for air
"Why should I stay?", I shout into the darkness
It screams back, "Your mine. Your soul has a new master!"
I shudder, my core cold
I am scared of your rage
If you hit me, I will fall, I will brake
The Unknown smiles and says, "I have all the cares for you my love, you I so hunger."
I stumble backwards into the pit
Crawling to get up, I see my fate
No hope or wishes will be made
Crying I fall to my knees, looking around at my underworld of shit
Praying for something to rip me out, tear my skin, dismember my soul from this satire
Life is sweet so they tell me
All the memories blinding my eyes
Trust, true love isn't that the binding parts
The puzzle lays abandoned, its pieces I can't seem to put together
I hide in shame
People see only the show being played
Just viewing the surface, my acting mastered, my masks I displayed
Its foot grinding my soul, I taste blood
Gritting my teeth and smiling at blank faces
My balance lost and legs give, the crowd laughs and walks away
Damaged goods lay on the ground, her petals limp and lifeless
God may I have the strength to pull myself out, before it drains me whole
Fear is the face I wear
Smiling is the face you see
Fading like the sound of a whisper in your ear
My fingers numb from untangling knots
Bound, Tied, enslaved, lost
Show me a glimpse of light
Closed off I pine
Why did I pull the strings and opened that box
The attic locks away her screams
Dead bodies always drawl flies
