Once I was blind and couldn’t see

But the Lord came and rescued me

Now my soul is free from misery

Because my Lord lives inside of me

There is no safer way to go

Than if you allow the Lord the way to show

He’ll take and guide you along the way

And help you to see clearly each day

Jesus can be everything to you

Just let Him in and he’ll see you through

He’ll teach you the way to live

And show you how good it feels to give

He gave His life so we can be free

From sin and all of its miseries

But we need to submit our lives to Him

So that we can live free from sin

We need to acknowledge His father too

Because He is so faithful and true

He was the one who sent His only son

To give us this victory that we have won
