Two Angel Miracles...
Two Little Angels, who never have met...Both share an illness we would like to forget.
Neuroblastoma, aggressively on a roll...
Growing tumors, destroying systems , out of control.
Learned of Lexie, through Timmie, on WN writing site.
Lexie and Caycen, with hearts of love, shining so bright.
Maybe they would meet, fall in love one day, if not for this...
Maybe if things were different, they would share a first kiss.
Instead, they are both warriors fighting hard to live...
With a cruel diagnosis, and little strength left to give.
So take a moment, hug your kids, then when you're through...
Know if it weren't their parents heartache, it could have been you.
Caycen has tumors growing larger on his brain..
Doctors are amazed with the ones on his hip, he isn't lame.
He is back at St. Judes, emergency radiation they said.
How his mothers heart must ache, with him in that bed.
Lexie's a beauty, with blonde hair and blue eyes...
Get her a bottle of bubbles, she would love that surprise.
She sings with her laughter, a glorious melody she sends...
She's fighting her illness, running as fast as the winds.
Life isn't fair...not without pain...it isn't always a dance.
For two parallel six year olds, theirs hasn't had a chance.
A miracle for these six year olds is what I pray...
Two Angel Miracles is what we really need this day.
