You know it's so funny how you can love a person so deeply until when it's time to let them go, you can't seem to do so.
Although you try with all your might to let it go, forget you love them so much, forget the times you've shared, forget the unforgettable passionate love making sessions, it's at that very moment you realize you're not over it and the tears start to flow.
You sit and wonder why and how things fell apart when things in time past seemed to be so perfect and cool.
Now you sit and think about things you could've have done and said to make the relationship work and how sensless arguments mwere so unnecessary but because of your pride you didn't give in and now you think of yourself as a selfish fool.
So now you watch them live happily with each other, smiling at each other with so much admiration and love and you think to yourself that used to be me.
But at the time when you had it, although sometimes yuo had the right to be upset, you really didn't appreciate it so your request was made known and your wish was granted and now you're free.
It's a heartbreaking feeling to think you want to be free and once your request is granted you realize that it wasn't what you really wanted, but now the decision is made and finalized, so it seems.
So there you stand in regret wanting back what you lost, in turmoil, going through so many changes to the point you just want to scream.
Friends tell you to get over it, you deserve better, there's more out there but in your eyes, at this point, it's easier said than done.
And although what they say may be true, but to you that person was more than just another relationship but your heart, mind, body and soul hands down they won.
Although you're physically free, but my question is mentally and emotionally how do you get free?
The answer or solution to the problem I do not know, but there's no freedom for your heart when they're the only one who has the keys to really set you free.
Unfinished this poetic peice may be, simply because the situations I've spoken about I'm currently going through.
But when i get the solution to the problem i'll take out my poets pen and attempt to close this chapter once again, but until then listen to good sound advice from those willing to give but first and foremost, to thine own heart be true.
