Waitin'

Waitin'

Now I've been awaitin' by the moon, by the stars
and you only waste away
and even if I could, should I wait? what I should do
I don't do anyway

Now I've been awaitin' by the sent of a flower
just to kiss you under the light of the moon
it's been such a day, such a night, such a dream
that I'm alive, here with you

I've been waitin forever
I've been waitin for you

Now I think all day about the strength of your smile
if you'd only be right here
but I fall asleep with your eyes on my mind
in a dream you appear

I've been waitin for ever
I've been waitin for you
I know you want me, I want you to
I've been waitin forever, I've been waitin for you

So I'll patient wait, give to God, leave to fate
yes I know, your heart's in repair
and even if I lose, lose my heart, get the blues
atleast I knew love was there

I know you want me, I want you to
I've been waitin' forever, I've been waitin' for you

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
