    Water on Rocks

The plants were hidden in abandoned jars
    Beneath obscene piles of rocks
Invisible by those of vacant stares
    Except to one who knocks.

With careful ending, the plants grew tall
Giving thanks to those who care
Now the beauty is seen by all
The plants won first prize at the fair.

"Whose are these plants?", said pasersby,
I told them they were mine
Oh, no,  said wrinkled faces sly,
You did not pay a dime.

The neighbors took the plants and ran
    Dropping them along the way
I gathered them softly in a pan
    To bloom another sunny day.

I love finding things, one time I found an old school desk, from ENGLAND. lol, ty WS

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
