Winter Wonder
Sing sweet oh gentle windsBlow carelessly through this winter night,
And warm my spirit with the whispers of the world;
Oh falling snow- how you purify such somber nights-
How you illuminate such dark desolation
We are but strangers lost in admiration.
My, how your words have caressed my heart;
And our souls are drawn together
Though logic pulls us apart-
The moonlight dances softly through the window.
We long for the forbidden touch,
The majestic kiss, and the lustful embrace;
You refrain, and your emotions stir restlessly within
Your eyes are deep, and sorrowful-
Agonized by the temptation of such a love,
You barely catch your breath.
Our words float quietly through the darkness
And so very close we have become;
The heat of your body permeates throughout my veins,
And together we fall into each other-
Your soft lips press against mine.
You are my angel, and I am your eternal lover,
And throughout the night
Like a burning fire,
Each other, we discover.
