    You and I

How sweet the sound that would come from your soft, beautiful parted lips, from your voice stuck in my head that I hear from time and again...
Strings that hold you binding you to reach seeking comfortable shelter, scared to touch, to see the dream that I have seen, as I hold your heart... while mine skips its beat...
Look closer can’t you see? Left me lost, lonely, turning my cheek...
Clear visions of you cloud my mind, so out of time.
Your laughter and song serenaded me all along with its sweet rhythm and soothing sound.
Bound now to what if, why, and how... If only you kept reaching...we would have kissed the stars and touched the moon, danced on Jupiter, Mars and Venus to...as we fell from the sky...riding it so high... There would have been no one... like... ‘You and I’
