Undone
Shadows creep across the floor, reminding me of days before...twisting, turning, and dancing in laminated light...
Remembering once happy times...
As my days turn to nights, my dreams come and seem to come alive, vivid and bright; allowing me to see what can become of things.... moving so fast I can barely keep up with its pace...as my eyes shift slowly as another page turns...days become weeks and weeks to months... I feel I can never catch up!
Standing here out of breath, my hand held out as I stretch; an my fingertips barely touch the colorless, shapeless siluhettes...
Capture my heart and steal my breath, I long and ache as I wait for what’s at stake.
“Patience”...I hear in a heavy, deep, dull whisper...as I sit and wait, anticipate.
My dreams are real...
My eyes twinkle while I sit still...
Waiting for my day to come...that my burden has finally come ‘Undone.’
