    A moment

Visions of you come to me...as I see the outline of your face, the smoothness of your skin, the sparkle in your eyes, leaving me mesmerized...

You've touched me somewhere deep within...forgot about that spot for a long time.

Why have you aroused me so, so deeply, and I don't have a clue as to who you really are...

My desires are cravings, like a beast who has become savaged, and hungry...

I scrap at the bone to feed my hunger, chew on the marrow to quench my thirst, lick at the fat just for the taste, yet...I am left hungry...thirsty...

My curiosity grows...as my hunger builds.

As I sit here alone, I dream of you, think of you...just wanting to taste you, to feel you close to my body, your breath on my neck, close to my ear...

I could love you for ‘a moment’...and feel you forever

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
