    It shows what will happen. It takes you through some things that will be challenging in your life.

    You Can't

     You can't see the future with tears in your eyes.
    Yet you can see the future with hope in your eyes.

    You can't hold back love.
    Yet you can love without holding back.

    You can't want to be famous without loving music.
    Yet you can love music without wanting to be famous.

    You can't have bad friends.
    Yet your friends will be bad.

    You can't write bad poetry.
    Yet you might think your poems are bad.

    You can't love this world forever.
    Yet this world can love you forever.

    And Finally:

    You can't be yourself without loving yourself.
    Yet you can love yourself for being yourself.

    Thank you...although it is a bunch of random things, I feel like they are something to think about at one time.

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
