    trying something different

    A Cup of Mental Pause
    How do you do?
    I don't you know....
    Cannot decide
    Which way to go.

    For if it North
    Be my direction,
    It almost feels
    Like an infection.

    I spend my days
    In troubled thought,
    And make decisions
    All for naught.

    And if it's South
    For me to go,
    Would not take long
    A frown to grow.

    Nothing is stable.
    Every thing's changed.
    My only constant
    Is re-arrange.

    East or West
    A terrible plight,
    A no win fix
    For my inner fight.

    How do you do?
    I don't, you know.
    Cannot decide
    Which way to go.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
