    A Moment Lost

    A Moment Lost

I stand before you, my eyes wondering what comes next.

Your hands wrap around my waist, my heart accelerates.

I hear my own heartbeat, my breathing becomes a sigh.

You come closer and my body feels week, my hands tremble.

I can feel your breath on my face, your lips so close to mine, I gasp .

Finally our lips meet, so nicely you touch me, your lips surround mine.

The taste of you in my mouth, so sweet so tender.

Your hands reach for my chest, my breast welcome you with such joy.

Your touch is so sensual, my body dances to the beat of your touch.

Surrounded by nothing, what comes next?

My body welcomes you, it longs for you.

There you are in front of me, what makes you mine?

    I take you in.

You hurt me, the hurt only accentuates passion.

You fill me, I indulge in sensations of lust and desire.

My body becomes yours, it fills with you; all of you.

Time stands still, yet our bodies in constant motion.

    I can’t see, only feel.

My eyes shut only to imagine you reaching deep inside me.

There’s nothing I want more than this feeling.

    Eyes open, and I wake.

Yet again only a dream of a sweet moment lost in time.

thank you so very much this means allot to me, really thank you

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
