    You don't say

Your silent, your discrete. Your voice is rarely heard, I try to hear your whisper, your cry. But you don't say, you just listen patiently while my heart pours out into words. You keep cool, calm and collected while I want to scream out to the heavens how you make me feel. Yet again, you don't say. Your silence is your protection your secret retreat. You don't say.... that I'm what you need, but your eyes tell me I'm all that you want. You don't say.... that your only mine, but your body tells me loudly that you are. You don't say.... that you want me for all time, but the way you hold me let's me know that its forever. You never say.... how you feel about our future, yet you cling on to our past, hoping that it will not end. Then there it was, your lips produced that beautiful sound & melody..... You said "I love you". Was I dreaming? I ask, but once again "you don't say"..... You hold on dearly to your voice, you don't want me to know that this is how you feel. That this feeling is so real, so rare yet so full of possibilities. Yet again you don't say ... Won't say that you've lost yourself in the maybe, in the thought of us. Of us in love. But you won't say.

It is hard to express some feelings. Don't let yourself become this way. This is an excellent write. Keep on writing. It is medicine for your soul.

Sometimes feelings are better expressed through words on paper.

    Another great one.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
