    A tale of two

    Turning away
    for the very last time
    Seeking a truth
    lost in his mind
    Finding a path
    that leads from this sight
He turns to her now and holds her tight

    Floating on a dream
    mezmerized by a light
    A voice so soft
    it blends into the night
    A striking blow
    felt to the heart
She closes her eyes and knows they must part

oh wow...this one is sad but very good

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
