    Ancient Crush

I can feel you looking at me. Yes I’m watching those BIG brown eyes. My stomach is anxious, lit up with fire flies. I long to touch you run my fingers through your hair. I hardly know you, yet… you were always there. Admiring each graceful movement you make. Wondering how long it’s gonna take. I’m craving your sensual taste. Bodies pressed against one another. I bury my face, in your neck inhaling each scrumptious pheromone. A scent I ponder as you drive home. Walking to my apartment reminiscing. Laminating that moment I gazed across to you and you smiled across to me. I thought… How could this happen? How could this be? Such a sweet smile, this must be a dream. Warm springs flush and stream. All over my body from head to toe. Why I’m telling you? I don’t know! Just thought maybe you’d like me to show, my thoughts when you aren’t around. You know… what I really think of the new kid in my town.

well written....a crush is a wonderful thing....much better when you let your true feeling be known.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
