    Moving On

There are times when I can't seem to understand. Why a woman's worth is about finding a man.

I have succeeded in making a life for myself. I don't need some pero's wealth.

Every man I have been with lately acts like I need them. When really I just want to use him.

Exactly how they used me for years. Believe me that when I say I'm not shedding any tears.

For some out of work mooching Mother Trucker. That has to borrow rides and lives with thier mother.

Saying they can't be with me because of my multiple flaws. Please... compared to thier childish behavior. I have no faults at all.

Just cuz they can't let go. Definately don't make me the back up ho!

Wish society could comprehend, "God's Gift to Woman" is not men.

The gift we were given is life. Not a battle of the sexes and constant strife.

It's not like every spare moment I have is dedicated to please men. I don't need plastic surgery to know I'm a perfect ten.

I can take care of me, and whoever else happens to come around. So stop acting like you have more to offer than the tears of a worthless clown.

Come on wipe that fake emotion off of your face. Cuz the idea of not being able to live without a man ha been erased.

I love this, it's so true. kudos on speaking what so many women are too afraid to.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
