Be Afraid of the Dark

  • I love to write poetry, play some piano, play some guitar, and style and sew my own cloths.

Be Afraid of the Dark

“Be Afraid Of The Dark”

The sky is hazed, dark clouds and white.

A red flag waves left and right.

Guns in place, loaded in rounds

Now begins the shooting sounds.

Ear muffs tightened to my ears

Securing sounds to freighted fears.

The wind picks up as clouds drift in.

I think he’s ready to shoot again?

The rifle has twelve rounds of ammo,

Lightning strikes, it sounds like “Rambo”

Be afraid of the dark, my man can shoot!

Try something funny, you’ll get the boot.

The weather is taking a dreary change.

The experience was fun, a wee bit strange,

It’s time to leave this shooting range.
