    • I love to write poetry, play some piano, play some guitar, and style and sew my own cloths.

    Christopher Columbus: 1451-1506

Columbus was Admiral of the Open Sea,

Leaving for America, in his ships of three.

He was a sailor at age thirty two

Off to sail his ships on the ocean blue.

    Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria,

His ships were waiting at the marina.

On October 12, fourteen ninety two,

Columbus was now sailing with his crew.

He set sail on a voyage, leaving for Spain,

Maneuvering ships to increase his gain.

    Nineteen thirty four, Franklin Roosevelt

Set a federal date, agreed with and dealt.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
