    Better Days

    Sitten there thinkin’
bout all the things I’d done
    got tired of feeling guilty
it was time to move on.
If I made the right choice
    Only time will tell
    I just gotta move past
    This casted spell
    They were only words
    I held on too
Just had to let em go,
    just pass em through
transformation, is a part of life
    I will pass this strife,
    And I may fall..but,
    I will rise again,
    again & again...
So I’ll go to that well
    Where my waters never dry
    I’m never left alone.
    I found Gods voice inside
    And it brings me home.
    Now, my journey begins
    Seeing the world
    Through a whole new lens
    In the end, my friends
    I finally see,
all the people in my life
    were meant to be.
I see the world in color
    Instead of gray
    Now I’ve cleared the way
    For a better day.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
