    Crumble

The soft glow of light shows the thin streaks,
Bowed head, chest vacant because of the nonsensical technique.
A tenebrosity heap covers the beige carpet already rotten,
As it lays there footsteps track already forgotten.
Gaze into the windows of the soul and see the abuse,
It's something that can't be obliterated just let it darken and bruise.
The lament is innermost and silent,
This disarray compares to being violent.
Slash the malaise and watch it exude,
Digest melancholy clouded feelings that seclude.
Forsake the stone forth there is known,
    The cycle there is shown.
Terminate all that were ever so gently once faded,
Stare at all of them because it was what I, myself, have created.

    Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam that was daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam Deep.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
