    Poem Commentary

This poem was inspired by my beautiful residents. One in particular who always smiled regardless. I love them all!

DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?

I see sunshine when skies are grey.
I can see snowflakes in the middle of May.
I can see flowers bloom in the dead of Winter.
I see rainbows in late November.
On the saddest face I can see a smile.
In an 80 year old I see the heart of a child.
Time and age has blinded me.
But I have the best sight ever!
    Wouldn't you agree?
