Why do we treat Him the way that we doOur Lord our Savior, for me and for you
On a cross He died there, because of our sins
Yet Hes the gateway to heaven
From this world within
Don't mock him, don't misuse Him
Or suffer Him there
Get into His word in His loving care
He will redeem us, if we follow His way
Jesus will redeem us from our sins day by day
He knows our trangressions, He yet pays for them
He wants to save us, from all the worlds sin
His yolk is so easy that He gives to you,
He's the head stone of this temple tiss true
Our yolk shall be easy, He will pardon our sin
He'll call us to heaven, someday with Him
If we study his word, also act on it to
God will redeem us, but this we must do
Don't mock Him, don't misuse Him,
Or suffer Him there. Stay into His word
Into His loving care
He will redeem us, If we follow His ways
Jesus will redeem us from our sins day, by day.
