In My Hope Is My Portion

In My Hope Is My Portion

In my troubles I'll call, for deliverence of me
I glorify God, for He set me free
There is nothing too hard for His out arms
He made my armor, it keeps me from harm
In my hope is my portion, I'll wait for Him
Staying from trouble, running from sin
Dominion He has over me with His word
I shalt not tempt my God or my Lord
I'll sing to my Lord of His excellent things
Like the comforter He sends, and the love that it brings
How great is my Lord, His glories about
He has all power, to call each of us out
I'll sing to my Lord, and call on His name
He lets the blind see, and He heals the lame
I'll make known His deeds, the wonders He's done
He came the most Highest, Jesus, God,s Son.
To whom all knee's will bow, His glory will show
All sins will be forgiven, they will all go below.
He will list you forever, in His book of life
There you must be, Jesus keeps you in strife
In your very last day, you are sure to be
With Jesus our Lord, In His word you can see.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
