I'll Lift Up My Hands

I'll Lift Up My Hands

I'll lift up my hands to praise my Lord
While I sing out His psalms, songs of His word
He shall not cloth me of my life's shame
For my Jesus has taken away all my blame
I'll praise ye the Lord, Praise ye His name
For my Jesus thats taken away all my shame
I'll lift up my hands for Jesus above
I'll lift up my blessings with all of my love
I'll not want for riches only blesses above
I'll praise my Jesus, I'll praise Him with love
I'll lift up my hands His mercy is mine
For His mercy indureth throughout  all time
I'll lift up my hands to praise ye my Lord
For the wisdom I've found in His Holy word
I'll lift up my hands my savior shall see
My Lord my Savior shall comfort me
I'll praise ye my Lord, praise ye His name
For my Savior, my Jesus, thats taken my shame

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
