Gods Freeway

Gods Freeway

God's freeway is an exit , from the worlds transit line
Where the  transit line is wide and long, with sin all the time
But from it there's an exit, where few turn off there
Yet it is marked so plainly, with the cross that Jesus bared
The transit line goes on and on, some travel it to find
The exit to God's freeway, marked plainly by God's sign
When traveling down the transit line, where sin and burdens are
Please watch out for Gods freeway, it's never away to far
Slow down for God's exit, watch for it out there
Turn right on God's freeway, read God's signs with care
For God's freeway it is rocky, only God to guide you there
If you want to get to heaven, this freeway you must bear
Few there is to find it, I know you'll find your way
Cause God's freeway leads to heaven, in truth, life, and way.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
