Fickle Fantasy
I felt I needed
And I craved to have
An understanding friend
I dreamed and desired
For so foolish a thing.
But Now I know and see,
What it is I truly need.
My heart and mind long,
For someone who will follow,
When I run crying,
Desperate, alone and afraid.
Confused and lonesome I rest,
Deceived and destroyed,
By my foolishly fickle fantasy.
