Whispering Tears
Never a shoulder to cry on
Nor an ear to listen.
Trustless and alone.
So loud I scream
But nobodies there.
My words are a whisper
Lost before they reach the wind
Tears drip silent with none to see.
I grope and reach
And stumble to my feet
But walking is too hard
When nobody cares.
I fall again.
But I make no sound.
Because none are around
To hear my heart die.
