    Fight for the Light

    Fight for the Light

I don’t want to drown you in my own tears

I don’t want to lose you in my own insecurities

You are my best friend, my love

    The hero of my dreams

    Your heart shined so bright

I was used to the darkness in my life

I was blinded by your light

Then you guided me through the night

I don’t want my fears to be your fears

I don’t want my pain to be your pain

It was you who gave me strength to go on

It was you who gave me love to move on

    Love Unconditional

Before I knew what it really meant

I want my love to be your love

I want my happiness to be your happiness

Don’t let the emptiness of my broken heart bring you down

Fill it with the warmth that I saw when I first saw you that night

For my life was an endless night,

    You gave me the daylight.
