Greener Grass

    Greener Grass

Did you find what you sought when you left home,
Was it worth every moment that I was left alone,

Were there stars, stripes, diamonds or gold,
That caused you to make what we had unfold,

Did they have what I have or maybe more,
Enough to make you leave me heartbroken and sore,

Is it perfection you seek or maybe fame,
A better physique or financial gain,

More than what the eye can see,
Remember my love as I set you free.

    short and sweet..I like it

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
