    Healing Of Time
    I have walked with you a whole lifetime
    yet I am told it will only hurt for a little while
    The many memories are so sublime
    but they will travel with me all of my miles

    Nothing can be said to turn back time
    the memories I have will be saved
    The beauty of you will stay in my mind
    and my thoughts of you will never fade

    A tear sometimes comes when I think of
    our time together
    then the thought of your face makes me smile
    The happiness you brought made my life so
    much better
    Yes it only hurts for a little while.
