Humanity

We are not as beautiful as we assume
we are humans
we are selfish, bratty, ignorant, demanding
we expect for everything to work in our favor
damn the rest
for if it works now , all that matters
Earth is dying because we can't clean up after ourselves
because we can't afford to take a couple days to walk somewhere
no , we'll ruin the atmosphere with our cars
we're idiots, clumsy, hypocrites
every word in the dictionary you will see our pictures
we are animals that live in gigantic packs ,
that have overpopulated and mother nature needs to reteach us our place
we all use cars , but we look for a solution to fixing the ozone
the solution is there, but we refuse to give up the luxury of getting somewhere fast
we are mean
we are segregated
we have our own thoughts that have left its mark
we're all human
we all make mistakes
every mistake should be a lesson learned , should it not ?
we've made the mistake, and we're makin' mistakes
but we do it over and over and over again
we make the mistakes , but we'll never learn
but such is the nature of humans
we're idiots in our own ways
some bigger than others
some more dangerous than others
but we make mistakes what more can we do
humanity is a pain in the ass
