    • Ok So I'm back in my house after the eight months in the woods because of the fire. Everything seems to be ok now. I guess we will have to work with that. btw I do have my lip redone. Yay for quilting needles.

    I give up

The words she writes gives you a window to her world
she opens doors to something new
the things she sees are strange and beautiful
    things maybe you once knew

    her silhouette in shadows dance
    to strange harmonies
these butterflies of her once love
    revert to melodies

She's letting go of what she knew
    so soft and bitter-sweet
her only tears she has to share
she sheds for you to see

No longer hiding in the dark
    her shadows fade from view
She stands to face the light ahead
to say her love is true

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
