    • Ok So I'm back in my house after the eight months in the woods because of the fire. Everything seems to be ok now. I guess we will have to work with that. btw I do have my lip redone. Yay for quilting needles.

    Last words to you.

    I sit so cold, alone
The bitter sweet still lingers on my lips
No longer able, still I wonder if I'll ever see home
    Remember, reminicing, warmth escaping fingertips.
I remember long ago the night on the rooftop.
But it's too late. This last pill numbs the pain.

You haven't seen me in so long
    I'm not the same.
    I'm not insane.
    Just strange.

It's too late now, I'm nothing more.
Laying on this rooftop forever more.
These mem'rys like the pills I swallow
Keeping me from dreaming of the night.

You said you loved me long ago
I believed you, so you'll know

    You'll never be forgotten.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
