    i used to hate you.
    i used to hate you
    then i started loving myself
    you can give all your love to someone
    but not yourself
    i used to over look the bad
    tellin myself u was all i ever had
    putting up with life's mysteries
    lettin u hold me while i fall asleep
    i used to hate you for me not
    loving myself
    you was my strength
    until i found out myself
    who u really are and
    why you do thoses things
    anything you said
    i just agreed
    i used to hate you
    for the times you made me cry
    when you would say things would be ok
    i never questioned you why
    you said not to worry
    so i said problem solved
    but when you left me
    i could see it all
    i used to hate you
    but now im loving me
    cause if i kept lettin you get inside
    i would never be free
    so no more hate at my door
    i started loving me just a little bit more
