    Just A Kiss

Softer than the impact of a rose pedal to the earth
Soothing beyond all who witness may comprehend
No amount of adversity can suppress such a fortune
I see my life in her eyes as I die in her arms
It seems the very essence of my existence
Yet you say it is just a kiss.

That which you say is justified from any other substance
Though delivered from her sends the receiver to an immortal state of ecstasy
Without it I would surely lose myself in thought of its presence
Mind, body, and spirit all rejoice as her lips caress mine
My heart stops when she takes them away
Yet you say it is just a kiss.

sorry not so much for this one, but i am just one opinion

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
