LAST TIME
When I saw you in your yellow polo shirt for the first time in awhile
My eyes lit up, gotta lil antsy and on my face and heart was the
hugest smile
As you sat in front of me and our eyes eventually locked
All my emotions came rushing back as we began to talk
I wanted so bad was to touch you, but something deep inside told me to keep my cool
oooo boy you betta be glad, caus only if you know what I would do to you if we weren't in school
My time with you was running out and my smile slowly left my face
As I helplessly watched you walk out the door, hurt caus there was
nothing I could say to make you stay.
So I embraced you tightly as my eyes slowy began to close
Savoring the moment of the last time I would be able to hold you close
In that moment a flashback reminded me of the first time we kissed
How your lips brushed against mines, took a left, then missed
As a tear rolled down my cheek my day dream was interupted
Where I was brought back to reality and how my life was disrupted
Unbelievable about how vital one piece of information can be
That when revealed it put our thoughts on hold of having a future with just you and me
Bizarree, dat night we spent together. Clueless to the fact that would be our last
Only if we knew we'd probably try and make that moment last
The things I'll miss the most is the tender way we kissed
Your cute little smile and soft kissable lips
But having to be friends for a moment is okay with me
Cause when its all said and to done forever will we be
And as long as I live I will never forget
The last time we spent together from the time we met
How ya touch sent chills from the nape of my neck to the end of my spine
And how I knew from that moment on you'd always be mine
Now all alone in a corner watching the clock, was where I was unfortuantely left
My hand on my head, with racing thoughts, sad, depressed, but mostly upset
Although I know I'll see you in awhile but for the moment it seems to long
But I must go on, for the both of us so I guess I'll need to be strong.
My eyes lit up, gotta lil antsy and on my face and heart was the
hugest smile
As you sat in front of me and our eyes eventually locked
All my emotions came rushing back as we began to talk
