my life i had labelled a long time ago "CONFIDENTIAL"
everything bad i did, felt or thought of, i never wanted to relay
i would store them all clandestine fashion in books
my experience forever pregnant and fast becoming ancient
    has weakened me considerably
i no longer have the pallet for the drink Eudaimonia
no longer too do i don the itchy garb of innocence
i style myself in leathery anger and tuff stompin boots
my screw u stilletos i leave 4 nocturnal prowls of course
occasionally i am missioned to guiltville
armored 2 the hilt i cud survive there 4 a while
but of course like the heat of the sun
that place melts all defense including heart and soul
    i get around well enuff
annoy some i do, feared i am not
tho sometimes i think its a better status to have
hate is a brand i dont buy
yet strangely enough many seem to bestow it gift wrapped
i try not 2 condemn them to the place we all love 2 refer 2
i am no God or saint
all i have dealt the hurt hand can contest to this
forgiveness no matter how costly i save for like a long for diamond
i bet no one wud guess that i save 4 it only 2 give it away.....

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
