LETS COOK BLACK
Warmth laughter from the kitchenweaves black love for food, thanksgiving
a table weaves with decoration, joy breathes
harmony family pitched in oneness and more love..
calaloo collar greens cornbread
country yam delights flavors each bites
sweet potato spices and sweet mingle
with mack and cheese apple pies and the rest
is much to eat Symphony of of tastes..
family gathered, shared stories in this space
black thanksgiving, lets cook black, elders
childrens glee culture mix with history mix with
todays songs a cherish monent full of strength
but nothing to do with our vast magestic history
for africa is our land and we longed to be home,,,,
