    Moving on

This is a war that will wage in my mind like a thunderstorm
One that I have to face alone
With no one there to help me, no one to hold my hand
I will have to come to terms with what has passed
Before I can finally move on
Yes, it will take time, yes my friends will be confused and hurt
But if I dont move on my life will mean nothing while I don't have her Nothing will taste the same, look the same, feel the same
Everything is muted of color and sound until I se her smile again
Her laugh breaks through my clouds and the sun warms my face and heart
Are you asking me to live without warmth?
Are you asking me to live in a muted life?
No, your just asking me to live an empty life
One that is void of love and compassion
    Sorry
For this one time I am doing something for myself
I will not stop until she is "mine" or she tells me no.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
