My Bestfriend, My Mom
Seven years ago I lost my best friend
she was the one who held me together,
who got me through think and thin.
Her name was Bonnie and she was my Mom.
She passed when I was 15.
It was then my life was torn apart.
There has not been one day
that I haven't thought of her,
that I haven't told her I love her.
My mom was and still is
my idol and my hero.
I miss her more and more
with every seconds passing.
My heart still breaks when I think of her,
but I know she's in a better place.
I feel her presence surround me
like she is hugging me once more.
Tears fall from my eyes
everytime I think of her.
I wonder why she had to go
and leave me here alone
She was the best woman I've ever known.
No one could ever compare.
She had the biggest heart of gold.
No matter what she was always there.
She always told me she loved me,
that I was her princess.
She told me she was proud of me
and for a daughter I was the best.
I was with her in the end.
I was holding her hand when she left.
To this day I still feel her hand in mine
and sometimes it makes me a mess.
I could never forget my Mom
she was my bestfriend,
and there will never be a day
that I don't tell her I love her.
So until we meet again
I will think of her every day,
and knowing that she loves me
will help me through the rest of my days.
